3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the Service: We process your submitted text and writing samples to generate humanified content and style profiles.
• To manage your account: We use your email for authentication, email confirmation, and account-related communications.
• To process payments: Subscription billing is handled through Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID but do not store credit card details.
• To improve the Service: We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve our platform.
• To communicate with you: We send transactional emails such as welcome messages, subscription confirmations, and account notifications.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States.
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.
• All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption.
• Access to production systems is restricted and monitored.
• API usage logs are automatically deleted after 90 days.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Amazon SES: To send transactional emails.

6. Data Retention

• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• Humanification history is retained for your reference until you delete your account.
• API usage logs are automatically deleted after 90 days.
• When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems.

We use browser local storage to maintain your session (authentication tokens) and preserve your in-progress work. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics services.

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
