3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service: We process your submitted text and writing samples to generate humanified content and style profiles.
- To manage your account: We use your email for authentication, email confirmation, and account-related communications.
- To process payments: Subscription billing is handled through Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID but do not store credit card details.
- To improve the Service: We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve our platform.
- To communicate with you: We send transactional emails such as welcome messages, subscription confirmations, and account notifications.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States.
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- Access to production systems is restricted and monitored.
- API usage logs are automatically deleted after 90 days.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- OpenAI: To power text transformation. Submitted text is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe: To handle subscription payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google: For Google sign-in authentication. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Amazon SES: To send transactional emails.
6. Data Retention
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- Humanification history is retained for your reference until you delete your account.
- API usage logs are automatically deleted after 90 days.
- When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data through your account settings and dashboard.
- Correct your account information through your profile settings.
- Delete your account and associated data at any time from account settings.
- Export your data by contacting us at the email below.
- Withdraw consent by closing your account.
8. Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser local storage to maintain your session (authentication tokens) and preserve your in-progress work. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics services.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
